Several reviewers said that this is exactly what they were looking for, it scanned at a high enough quality and was very fast. Another reviewer really loved the compact size and were very surprised at how powerful it was. Another reviewer loved the fact that they did not have it hooked up to a computer to scan dozens of pictures.

There were however, a couple of negative comments; one reviewer did not like how they did not have much control over the scanning process. Another reviewer did not like the fact that they could not name the files what they wanted.
